A navigation through creative worlds, ambient sounds, shared food and live music.
For one afternoon and evening, Bathyscaphe becomes a space for visual exploration, making, listening and gathering — bringing together the work of Andrea Davalos, a hands-on collage workshop, ambient vinyl set by Esteban Stan, dinner and three live performances.
At the heart of the event is Andrea's exhibition, inhabiting the space throughout the day and evening. Her work becomes the visual landscape of the gathering, with a vernissage inviting everyone to discover it as the event unfolds.
The afternoon begins at 14:00 with a collage and graphic art workshop led by Andrea. Across two sessions, we’ll explore cutting, layering, composition and the transformation of found images into new forms. No previous experience is required.
While we work, Esteban Stan will shape the atmosphere with a carefully curated ambient vinyl selection, accompanying the workshop and the discovery of Andrea’s work.
At 18:00, we pause for dinner, gathering around the table to share food and conversation before the evening shifts direction.
From 19:00, Bathyscaphe opens up to live music, with performances by:

After the concerts, the evening stays open. House music, drinks and informal exchanges carry us into the night — a chance to linger, connect and let the day unfold.

Esteban Stan
Dividing his life between the sea and the shore—oceanographer in the depths, musician on land—Esteban Stan draws inspiration from the hidden landscapes of the ocean floor. From these silent depths emerge a series of marine-inspired chants for voice and piano, musical impressions where the sea resonates in sound and poetry.
Antti Lähdesmäki
Antti Lähdesmäki is a versatile pianist and composer known as a bandleader, big band composer and a sought-after band member for a variety of styles. His current projects include writing for UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, the Brazilian-European trio Maré Alta which recently released its debut album and working on his next album ”I tried to tame the sea” to be released 2026.
Maï Ogawa
Maï Ogawa takes you aboard her musical swing. A piano and a voice, like a boat and a mast, strings and a wooden plank. Let yourself be carried away by the tide of a forgotten tribe of Japan.
Andrea Davalos
My work and whimsical style are characterized by a strong sense of color and texture, which I credit to my terrible eyesight and nomadic upbringing in Mexico. Not being able to see sharply made me observe colors and textures with fascination. This translated into a natural command of color that now feels second nature to my work and personality. I love the process of creating and the power that a strong visual can have over our general mindset. I want to share this feeling and inject a bit of visual optimism into whoever is willing to take a moment to look.
